You’re Invited: Join Us for the EPC General Assembly and Gospel Priorities Summit 2024!

Get ready to mark your calendars, EPC family, because it’s once again time for our General Assembly and Gospel Priorities Summit! We are thrilled to extend to you a warm invitation to join us at Hope Church in Cordova, Tennessee from June 18th to June 20th, 2024.

This year’s GA will be unforgettable; our theme, “Next,” is drawn from 2 Timothy 2:2 – “You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.”

In our denomination, the General Assembly is not just a conference; it’s our yearly family reunion. It’s a time when we come together, not merely as a collection of Presbyterian churches, but as a close-knit family, rekindling cherished connections and fostering new ones among friends across the nation.

Expect each day to be brimming with enriching equipping sessions, aligned with our Gospel Priorities: Church Planting, Church Health, Global Movement, and Effective Biblical Leadership. We’ve reimagined the schedule to integrate these sessions throughout each day, all leading up to what promises to be a transformative Gospel Priorities Summit. Have we mentioned the special guests? You won’t want to miss out on the lineup we’ve got in store for plenary and worship speakers. Stay tuned for updates via EPConnection and the official GA 2024 webpage.

For our Clerks of Session, please take note: it’s time to elect and endorse your Ruling Elders. To ensure their voice is heard, please submit your Commissioner Certification Form by May 15 and secure their rightful place in the decision-making process. Teaching Elders do not need to be certified.

Don’t forget to take advantage of those early registration discounts from April 1 to May 15. Trust us, you’ll want to snag those savings. New this year is the option for childcare – Hope Church is generously providing children of all ages with exciting and fun activities to participate in during the week.

The early registration fee is $295 per person. On May 15, the price increases to $345 per person. After June 15, a late registration fee will apply to total $395 per person attending. Childcare costs $150 per child (scholarships will be made available – more information coming soon). Please register as early as possible, as only those Commissioners who register before May 15 will be placed on a Standing Committee.

Finally, we will remember and honor our departed colleagues during the Thursday evening worship service. It is a solemn yet cherished moment to reflect upon and celebrate the enduring legacy of those who have gone home to be with the Lord before us. To be included in this year’s memorial, please share your memories with us using the Memorials Form.

This General Assembly & Gospel Priorities Summit will be one for the books as we look forward together to see what’s “Next!” Spread the word, register early, and get ready for an unforgettable experience. We’ll see you in Cordova!
