If the present trend continues, there will be record attendance at the upcoming General Assembly meeting June 17-21 at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. If you plan to come, be sure to complete your registration on www.epcga.org by May 31. All registration fees double on June 1.
- Why this big increase in fees? Think of it as our encouragement to “live considerately with one another.” Eight years ago, 35% of our attendees registered after June 1, which caused unnecessary severe headaches for the host church planning team – almost all of whom were volunteers. Raising registration fees in June has aided our local planning teams significantly. Now, less than 10% register in June. Let’s get that as close to 0% as we can this year.
Ruling Elders – be sure the two part registration process has been completed.
- Be sure your Clerk of Session has completed and sent in the Commissioner Certification Form. In order to vote at the Assembly, we need that certification that you have been elected by your Session as a Commissioner.
- Be sure you or someone responsible for registering your group has completed the online registration process at www.epcga.org.
We are in the process of final editing of the reports for the Commissioner’s Handbook. Reports will be posted when they are available. Hard copies will be mailed the week of June 1 to those Commissioners who requested it through registration.
