If you are a Search Committee member looking for a pastor and are attending the 33rd General Assembly meeting, then “Face to Face” is your opportunity to publicize your vacancy.  “Face to Face” will take place at the end of the Thursday morning business session.  You will be able to stand at a microphone and announce to the Assembly the opening for which your church is searching.  (Associate Pastor, Assistant Pastor and director level openings can also be publicized).   Your oral announcement should last no more than two minutes.  You will also be asked to provide contact information so that possible candidates can get in touch with you during and/or after the Assembly.  Over the years, “Face to Face” has proven to be a very effective way to gather potential candidates, so you’re encouraged to take full advantage of this opportunity!
