2012 Bartlett Hess Award – Waterbrook Community Church

On Sunday, August 25th, 2012 Stated Clerk Jeff Jeremiah presented to the congregation of Waterbrook Community Church, Logos, South Carolina the 2012 Bartlett L. Hess Award. Pastor Tom Clymer received the award on behalf of the church.

The award is named after Dr. Bartlett L. Hess, one of the founding fathers of the EPC who served as the pastor of Ward EPC in Northville, Michigan for 36 years. His ministry was characterized by his pastor’s heart, servant leadership, and a passion for the gospel, the church and the lost. The award recognizes those churches that pursue innovative and effective approaches to outreach, church growth and church revitalization.
