Bob Roberts, the founding and Senior Pastor of NorthWood Church near Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas, is a leading practitioner and writer on “glocal” transformation of individuals, religious communities, non-governmental organizations, cities and global engagement. He is the author of numerous books including Transformation; Glocalization; The Multiplying Church; Real Time Connection: Linking Your Job with God’s Global Work, and the recently released Bold as Love – What can happen when we see people the way God does.

The Assembly welcomes Dr. Tim Keller as the preacher at the Wednesday Evening Worship Service (June 18, 7:30 pm) lead by the Worship Team of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church. Dr. Keller, a minister in the Presbyterian Church in America, is the founder and senior pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. He is well-known for sermons that illuminate the truths of scripture and engage the contemporary mind, Christian and skeptic alike, At Redeemer, Dr. Keller’s vision is to launch a movement of new churches and holistic ministries in NYC and major cities around the world. Redeemer has already supported the planting of more than 200 churches in NYC and around the world and, through Redeemer City to City.
